Animal Alley Ministries Newsletter

What do you get when you combine a prairie dog, a chameleon and a ministry? You receive an audience that pays
attention, understands the message and learns more about the Lord. A perfect example of this is while at a camp
this year I gave a message on Friday night to the children and adults. During Saturday's morning message
when I was going to recap Friday night's message, I heard a young man in the audience saying what I was about
to say. I invited him up front and he was able to deliver in front of the audience the message from his memory that
I had given the night before. What a special moment and blessing to know that the words that the Lord had given me
reached this child.
The Lord has again greatly blessed us. Here are some of the blessings he has given us.
- We are thankful to the Lord for our oldest son's (Peter) job at Liberty Pet Center.
He gets to care for and learn more about animals. What a perfect first job for a young man who is already part
of a ministry that involves animals. As a further blessing we now receive a discount on our supplies from this store,
due to Peter's employment. Peter turned 15 last month and has already passed the six-foot mark.
The Lord abundantly provides our needs.
- We thank Him for Karen's new job. The Lord opened the door for her to teach Kindergarten this year.
Teaching has always been a desire for her and this job is a perfect fit for her. This teaching job also helps us with
the ministry by providing the medical insurance, that we could not afford prior, helps takes some financial burden off
and finally allows her to witness with the Ministry on weekends and the summer months.
- Andrew has now left the elementary school and is attending the middle school. Now that his brother is working,
he has taken on more responsibility in maintaining the animals.
- Heather is in 7th grade this year. She has a very sensitive heart and has sought out other
students who appear to be unhappy or feel left out and established friendships.
- This past year we have been blessed yet further by the Lord since he has allowed us help lead
children to Him. He has allowed us to witness to children and see them make decisions and rededications for Christ.
- We have another church that has committed to support our ministry through prayer and financial support.
The Lord continues to bless our ministry.
We request your continued prayers for the following:
- That the Lord will continue to help us to expand our opportunities to witness during the fall and winter months.
- We in the process of applying for much needed tax exempt status with the IRS and need the Lords hand to help the
process to flow smoothly.
- We are also applying for an USDA (zoo) license. This license would make our travels throughout the different
states easier for us.
- We have raised the funds for and purchased a MIC Coach bus. We are presently still awaiting word that it is
ready to be picked up so we may start the conversation process.
We thank you all for your continued prayers, thoughts, and support as we continue to witness for the Lord.
